I’m Aditi (she/her), a theatre director and writer based in the UK. I’m interested in a range of stories, from epic dramas to intimate familial stories. What matters most to me is the emotional core of a show, and whether I have something worthy to add or a decision to make for the production.

Some of my directing work includes directing the Cambridge America Stage Tour, where we are taking King Lear across America. I have also directed And Then There Were None, Lady Windermere’s Fan, and 10 out of 12 at the ADC Theatre, Cambridge, as well as Arcadia at CREA Theatre, Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Recently, my playwriting debut, Ringing, was performed in Pembroke New Cellars, Cambridge.

As a young creative, I’m open to many forms of theatre practice, whether that be more modern and experimental work or established classics. I believe that the process, through collaboration between different departments, working with creatives, and having a core vision while creating space for open and iterative communication, is what helps create the ephemeral medium of theatre.
